WHAT WILL YOU DO?
You build strategic client relationships that result in achieving regional revenue goals. You guide the implementation of regionally focused marketing and sales plans. You work as a resource with your regional team to create opportunities. You mentor technical experts on business development skills.
JOB DUTIES
Regional – Geographic Market Development
- Collaborate with regional staff to secure preferred revenue sources across all service offerings and to pursue opportunities for project teams that align with group sales plans.
- Drive growth of regional revenue through development of new, dormant and/or underdeveloped clients in support of all service groups.
- Build consistent internal communication streams to engage multi-disciplinary discussions with clients and project teams.
- Produce periodic regional sales plans, revenue forecasts, and status reports as required.
Corporate - Marketing and Business Development
- Collaborate with the Revenue & Growth and Service Leadership teams to develop and execute short- and long-term tactical plans, annual marketing and sales plans, and revenue budgets.
- Provide trend analysis of service delivery to assist Senior Leadership Team and Service Group Managers in forecasting and budgeting.
- Conduct market research and analysis to communicate opportunities and threats that exist within assigned region. Assess issues regarding competitiveness and value.
- Facilitate inter-regional communication and collaboration for consistency of client experience and service offerings.
Mentorship – Marketing and Sales
- Provide mentorship to Project Managers to guide opportunity identification, evaluation, and pursuit.
- Work alongside Project Managers to mentor behaviours for improved client experience such as methods for follow up and relationship strengthening.
Service Development – Market Trend Support
- Collaborate with regional staff and service group managers to assess operational issues in regard to competitiveness and efficacy of sales activity.
- Lead regular discussions with Senior Management Teams, Regional Project Managers/Leads and Revenue & Growth team to discuss industry nuances or changes to service offerings driven by market and/or client trends.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in science, a degree in Engineering or college diploma in technology. - Additional education credits in sales management and/or a degree or diploma in business administration or marketing.
- Multiple years of direct work experience in client development or sales management.
- Ability to communicate complex technical solutions to a variety of customer types.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build lasting relationships that translate to results.
- Superior communication skills, including the ability to write, present, and negotiate.
- Experience with CRM software and proficient at digital activity management.
- Superior technical, sales and marketing skills and attention to detail.
- Strong desire to succeed in a dynamic, progressive organization.
