CGI's Atlantic Business Unit is seeking an executive Business Development professional for our national Services to Credit Unions (SCU) practice.

Reporting to the Vice President of the SCU practice, this role contributes to building the strategic direction of the services we deliver to our clients and is accountable for the growth and delivery of IT consulting and managed services to financial institution clients across Canada. A key focus for the Leader will be to increase sales and revenue by building key business and IT relationships with both targeted and existing customers.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Having overall accountability for the business development and sales objectives with assigned clients, financial P&L delivery, service delivery excellence, strategic planning, and member leadership of the team, success will be required across the following areas of responsibility:

• Building and fostering Executive level relationships within the Canadian credit union and small banking markets
• Building and growing the funnel of opportunities and leading expansion into our target accounts; increase revenue and market presence
• Driving quality of delivery and ensuring complete customer satisfaction
• Collaborating with local leadership team on sector plans and strategy for business growth
• Achieving business and financial objectives
• Fostering the development of the team’s IP solutions, capabilities and expertise in line with client needs and market evolution
• Ensuring continuous and effective management of team member performance through ongoing dialogue and follow up

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• An established network of strong executive relationships in the credit union / financial services markets
• A proven track record of successful business development
• Reputed for building lasting executive relationships
• Over 10 years of progressive responsibility in business or technology consultancy with a demonstrated history leading outstanding sales and delivery teams
• Track record for driving proposal, pricing, and contracting for multi-dimensional client initiatives
• Experience successfully managing P&L and financial accountabilities
• The credibility to quickly become a trusted client advisor

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Business Administration, Computer Science or related field of study; an MBA would be considered an asset
