Job Description The Driver will be responsible for the preparation and completion of Transport Canada and Transportation of Dangerous Goods paperwork and adhere to safety policies and procedures. This position requires excellent communication and customer service skills in order to ensure a safe and timely delivery to our customers.
Our dedicated team of drivers is required to safely deliver liquid oxygen, liquid nitrogen, liquid argon, helium, and hydrogen tube trailers to Air Products plants and customers in Canada and the United States. Delivery includes loading and offloading of the product. With your safety being our number one goal, many of our drivers have achieved 1 million safe miles and have been recognized for their achievements. As a driver, you will enjoy an excellent benefits package, company-paid life insurance, and the opportunity to drive new equipment. So, stop breaking your backloading/unloading freight and join a team that has a 10% turnover with a stable workload all year long.
This is a 24/7 operation with bid schedules that cover
afternoons, nights, and weekends. - Quarterly safety/performance bonuses of up to 6%
- Home daily with a set schedule
Minimum Qualifications - Class AZ drivers license
- 3 years previous experience driving tractor-trailer (tanker preferred)
- FAST qualification or ability to acquire
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Clean Driving Record
