Drake International is looking for a
Business Development / Perm Recruiter to run a permanent recruitment desk for Drake Vancouver. With exceptional verbal, interpersonal, presentation and negotiating skills, you will be responsible to build a solid perm recruitment desk with a focus on your specialties.
ACCOUNTABILIT IES
- Reporting to the Branch Sales Manager you will be responsible for Business Development and Direct Hire Recruitment
- Build a viable perm desk with a focus on your specialty
- Develop Recruitment solutions and Competency Systems
- Market research and management consulting
- Responsible for day-to-day new business development and management of clients
- Establish and maintain long-term working relationships
- Successfully source and identify qualified candidates; track and manage employee data including compensation, job information, training, certifications & education; performance evaluations etc.
- Develop job descriptions and provide salary surveys to clients
- Creative sourcing and research, strong interviewing skills and complete due diligence
- Identify new business opportunities, defining client business requirements, developing and expanding client relationships and managing ongoing engagements
- Make recommendations to clients regarding the top talent available to meet their needs and provide customer service to ensure the clients expectations are being met
- Responsible for managing the recruiting process through an existing database; networking, contacts, advertising campaigns and direct recruiting
- Manage the recruitment process based on changing priorities and client needs
- Strategize with the Branch Sales Manager to accomplish business growth goals.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience preferred in a similar role
- University Degree in Business, Commerce or related field preferred
- Must be able to translate market intelligence into tangible results
- Experience with coordinating and managing challenging projects with proven results
- You are a visionary and strategic thinker
- Strong operational skills and experience
- Well established in the business community with an excellent reputation
- A creative, innovative and results oriented problem solver
- Strong acumen in business, sales and building client relationships
- Extremely well organized, multi-task oriented and efficient in time management
- Able to work in a fast-fast-paced, high-intensity work environment
- Self-confident and perseverance, dynamic communication skills and a high sense of urgency
- Creative, professional, articulate, and thorough
- Possess a high level of personal integrity and you are unconditionally committed to success
