Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Concrete Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working on construction sites and possess strong physical stamina and attention to detail. As a Concrete Laborer you will play a critical role in the successful completion of our projects ensuring that all concrete work is done efficiently accurately and safely.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Prepare construction sites by clearing debris and other materials.

2. Set up form work and lay out concrete according to blueprints and specifications.

3. Pour and spread concrete using various tools and equipment such as trowels and rakes.

4. Smooth and finish surfaces of poured concrete using hand and power tools.

5. Align forms for roadways and curbs and verify proper depths and grading.

6. Monitor concrete curing and make adjustments as needed.

7. Operate equipment such as concrete saws and grinders to cut and polish finished surfaces.

8. Assist in the installation of reinforcements such as rebar wire mesh and posttension cables.

9. Remove and clean forms after concrete has dried.

10. Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area always.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.

Sound knowledge of concrete mixing pouring and finishing techniques.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.

Basic math skills and ability to use measuring tools.

Physically fit and able to lift to 50 lbs.

Ability to work in a team and take direction from supervisors.

Willingness to work in varying weather and in a fastpaced environment.

Strong work ethic and commitment to safety.

- High school diploma or equivalent. - Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role. - Ability to lift and move heavy objects, up to 50 lbs. - Familiarity with operating basic hand and power tools. - Basic knowledge of construction, production, or manufacturing processes. - Excellent communication and time management skills. - Proven ability to work in a team and independently. - Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed. - Valid driver\'s license and reliable transportation.
