The Opportunity
Midland Transport is currently seeking a Human Resources Process Lead, this person will report to the VP of Human Resource. They will be focused on continuous improvement plan for systems, process, and people
Working closely Operations, Technology teams, and key Functional stakeholders this role is instrumental in supporting the design, build and deployment of HR solutions. This role will lead the deployment of best-in-class processes that conforms to audit requirements, creating supporting policies, and drive process changes with our teams
What You Will Do:
- This role supports the organization’s HCM/HR systems, Time and Attendance and Recruitment processes to ensure the design is meeting current business requirements.
- Facilitate the development and implementation of key processes to drive efficiency and standardization of our Time & Attendance system (Kronos).
- Collaborate with other stakeholders to deliver and support the solution.
- Deployment and implementation of systems and tools.
- Capturing and documenting comprehensive business requirements
- Creating functional specifications (translating business requirements into instructions that can be used by the technical developers to design the solution)
- Assist in evaluation and selection of new software solutions
- Keep track of the progress of business readiness activities including training to support local deployments during deployment of new solutions or enhancements.
Who You Are:
- Minimum of 5-7 years of related experience
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in appropriate discipline
- Master’s Degree in Business (asset)
- Knowledge of Oracle, Kronos, ADP, Taleo and processes
- Knowledge of Scrum/ Agile deployment methodology is an asset
- PROCI change management training and change management experience
- Strong knowledge of Human Resources best practices and interdependencies
- Proficient in MS Office Suite of programs
- Bilingual (English & French) is an asset.
- Knowledge of employment law (i.e. federal legislation), and HR operational background- Canadian and US.
