What is the opportunity ?
As a Technical QA Specialist, you will support the HR Incentive Compensation Technology team as both a QA specialist and TQA. You will write test plans and testcases, but also use your technical skills to deploy components to QA environments and write scripts to automate deployments and testing.
Write testcases for tools based on business requirements.
Perform testing on tools, document results, communicate with the development and business teams.
Perform deployments to various environments, including but not limited to QA.
Implement DevOps processes for deployments.
Implement automation scripts for deployments and test case automation.
Implement infrastructure upgrades including but not limited to operating system updates and database version upgrades.
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
Bachelor’s degree or College certificate in an information technology-related discipline
3-5 years of experience as a QA tester
1-3 years experience with automation testing using frameworks like Selenium or Robot Framework.
1-3 years experience programming in Python
Experience with implementing DevOps pipeline, Red Hat Linux
Extensive Windows operating system knowledge, including but not limited to IIS configuration (including SSL certificate installation), process automation, Active Directory.
SQL Server experience, including but not limited to upgrading SQL Server, modifying tables, views, and optimizing indexes; Oracle Database experience, including but not limited to upgrading Oracle, modifying tables, views, and optimizing indexes
Experience creating test plans, writing and executing test cases, documenting results.
Able to work independently, and in a team environment, and is proactive.
Nice-to-have
Software development in MVC core C# with Visual Studio or VS Code
Experience with SSIS packages in SQL Server
PowerShell experience
Experience using JIRA
Mainframe skills with JCL and SYSIN on zOS
Experience with Microsoft Azure
