Preferred Skills

The Canadian Work Season: In Canada we are seasonal. From December to April we are mostly closed for residential work, although we may still run some municipal work. (Once the snow is falling and its -20c, its best to go skiing instead).

Eligibility: Working in Canada requires a visa. If you are 18 – 35 years old, you need the International Experience Canada visa (IEC). The visa lasts for 2 years, and is extendible. This visa usually takes a total of about 10-16 weeks once submitted.

Since our season begins in April, you will need to apply for your visa well in advance. See visa details here: https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/work-canada/iec/about.html

Living in Canada: Canada is still an affordable place to live, with interesting trees to work in. Contact Alex for more details about moving here. Alex, the owner, is originally from the UK. Interviews: These will initially be virtual, but we will be conducting interviews in-person in the UK.

Benefits Offered

WAGE INFO: Wage ranges from 23$ - 35$ per hour, depending on skills and experience.

2 paid sick days, gear allowance, flexible summer breaks, seasonal production bonus.

Canadian seasonal workers, including those on a work visa, collect Employment Insurance over the winter, which means the government pays you 60% of your summer wage for the winter months.
