Job description

Our client is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented temporary Administrative Assistant to provide support vital support to our construction site operations for a project in Edmonton, AB. Reporting to the Site Manager, the successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the efficiency of our construction site office and ensuring seamless administrative processes. Responsibilities: Provide administrative support, including note-taking, typing, filing, organizing, and photocopying. Schedule and prepare the conference area for all meetings, ensuring a professional and organized environment. Maintain filing systems to ensure documents are up-to-date and easily accessible. Organize and manage field records, including drawings and specifications, on a daily basis. Monitor and manage office supplies inventory to ensure adequate stock levels. Maintain a safe and secure working environment, adhering to safety protocols and guidelines. Handle invoice receiving, filing, and submission to the home office. Greet and assist guests and visitors in a friendly and professional manner About you: Minimum high school diploma. Understanding of construction drawings and terminologies. Background in construction is a plus. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Strong planning and organizing abilities. Effective work and time management skills. Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in tasks. Ability to adapt to the unique social environment of construction sites. Perks: Pay rate: $25-$35/h Length of contract: Ongoing until project completion.
