Job description
One of our leading clients is looking for a Warehouse Supervisor to lead the team in meeting targets and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Responsibilities: Oversee all warehouse functions to meet safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets. Ensure Health and Safety/HACCP/5S compliance. Lead accident/incident investigations and suggest hazard elimination methods. Manage team members, including hiring and staffing adjustments. Maintain performance improvement programs and provide timely feedback. Monitor shift performance and initiate corrective action plans. Lead communication meetings and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Uphold food safety and cGMP processes and procedures. Spend considerable time on the shop floor and operate forklift/reach truck as needed. Qualifications: Post-secondary education in Business or equivalent work experience Minimum 5 years of warehouse experience in a fast-paced, lean manufacturing environment Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience Forklift and Reach truck licenses preferred Strong PC skills, including Microsoft Office and Excel Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Detail-oriented with a bias for action and proven ability to deliver results Good understanding of lean concepts and MRP systems Join us in shaping the future of warehouse operations!
