Job #4633 – Our privately-held, owner-managed client is continuing to experience impressive growth and they are now in need of a hands-on, strategic minded CFO to help steer the ship! Reporting to the owner, with a dotted line to the COO, you will be responsible for leading the finance and accounting operations across multiple entities. A hands-on, roll up your sleeves approach with a willingness to take risks and look at the big picture will take you far in this role! Main responsibilities include:

• Appoint, supervise, and motivate senior employees within the financedepartment
• Manage and oversee the company’s financial planning process
• Determine and monitor realistic objectives for the finance department
• Plan and perform risk management duties, and establish financial controls
• Analyze and manage the organization’s liabilities and investments
• Plan, implement, and manage investment strategies
• Manage fundraising plans and capital structure
• Determine finance KPIs and track progress
• Track and ensure cash flow is appropriate and sustainable
• Manage and retain relationships with various vendors
• Prepare and present reports and recommendations to the senior management team
• Adhere to the law and company policies and ensure compliance with all government and company requirements related to finance.

Qualifications:

The main qualifications for this role include:

• Completed CPA designation required
• Minimum 10-12 years of progressive work experience with 7+ in a leadership role
• Experience working with multiple legal entities
• Previous construction or property management experience considered an asset
• Experienced problem solver with a critical thinker mindset
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
• Ability to present financial analysis and projections to stakeholders
