What - the Role: Our client is seeking an experienced
Administrative Assistant who can support the organization with administration and technical support. This is a full-time, permanent position reporting directly to the Operations Manager. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to below:
- Provide first and second tier support to clients and IT director.
- Suggest new systems or processes to help with efficiency.
- Assist the Operations Manager and Vice President with training and development including curriculum development support, improving existing training programs, creating new training programs where necessary, improving existing manuals for trainers, improving existing PowerPoint presentations, booking clients for training, etc.
- Scheduling clients for monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, annual, and one-off bookings.
- Creating, editing, and sending reports to clients within 24 hours.
- Data entry and filing, as needed.
- Assisting the Bookkeeper with ad hoc junior accounting tasks such as invoicing, reviewing time sheets for accuracy, and checking bills for discrepancies.
- Ad hoc assignments as required.
Who - the Candidate:
We are seeking a mature, thorough, motivated, and seasoned Administrative Assistant with a valid BC Driver’s license. See other requirements below:
- 5+ years’ experience providing administrative work with strong technical capabilities.
- No issues with getting vaccinated with COVID or Flu shots.
- Post-secondary education would be an asset.
- Tech-savvy, systems-savvy, and quick learner for new software and systems.
- Excellent communication skills in verbal and written form.
- Responsible, self-motivated, and collaborative with a strong work ethic.
- No concerns that would prevent them from visiting and working in healthcare and public sector settings.
Where:
This is a FULLY REMOTE permanent role. Applicants must have a quiet home office where they can work from virtually. A BC valid driver’s license is required, having a car would be preferred. There are monthly visits to client sites all over the lower mainland that can start as early as 6 am. The regular working hours for this role is Monday-Friday between 7:30-4:30 pm with half an hour paid lunch break.
How Much:
Depending on the candidate’s background and experience, the base salary for this role ranges from $50,000 to $60,000 annually. They also offer a generous health spending account, 2 weeks’ paid vacation with a week office closure between Christmas and New Year, and mileage reimbursement for any client visits or meetings.
