Receptionist / Jr. Bookkeeper

The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling a variety of administrative and bookkeeping tasks, as well as serving as the first point of contact for visitors and customers.

Responsibilities:

• Answer and direct incoming phone calls and manage the front desk in a professional and friendly manner
• Manage correspondence, including emails, letters, and CRM
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for accounts payable and receivable
• Process invoices, manage bank statements, and reconcile accounts
• Prepare and process payroll, including the calculation and payment of taxes and benefits
• Assist with budget preparation and financial reporting
• Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion
• Assist with other administrative tasks as needed

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a receptionist and/or bookkeeper
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office
• High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in finance or accounting is an asset
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
