Responsibilities
• Defining the scope of testing and developing test strategy and test plan accordingly
• Planning, coordinating, deploying and managing the testing efforts and resources in an effective way
• Organizing, facilitating, and participating in workshops to elicit, document, and prioritize test cases, including test cases for accessibility.
• Leading, guiding, monitoring, and participating in the review and analysis of business requirements, documentation, development, and execution of tests scenarios
• Identifying test scenarios to ensure accessibility and inclusion standards are safeguarded
• Building up the testing and product competences of business testers to the success of project and providing supports for test environments, troubleshooting to business UAT as required

• Reporting testing results and managing defects, and working collaboratively to identify solutions and resolve problems with all technology partners
• Assistance in identifying, reporting and resolving the test-related risks
• Testing progress updates and status reporting in weekly Sprint Reviews meetings
• Assist in test execution
• Defect Management and reporting logs
• Coaching and training users that are to be engaged in the testing exercise, as required

Qualifications
• 3-5 years’ experience in and solid knowledge of Quality Assurance (QA) requirements of software deliverables
• Experience in leading and coordinating testing efforts and activities in a government context
• Proven experience in developing and documenting Test Plan/Strategy, User
• Acceptance Testing including accessibility testing
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in performing QA testing from an End-to-End perspective and reporting testing execution results
• Proven experience with defect tracking and reporting tools, workflows, test case management tools, such as JIRA, Quality Centre etc.
• Ability to understand business requirements and help define test cases/scenarios
• Previous public-sector project experience, especially in digital services
• Knowledge and experience with My NS Account is an asset
• Proven experience in workshop planning and facilitation in a large, complex business/organization.
• Highly effective collaborator, be able to establish and maintain strong working relationships with business representatives and project team members
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies as it relates to software development sprints and testing.
• ISTQB or other industry certifications would be considered an asset
