Your new role  

The new role is for a Deficiency Coordinator to help with the closeout and finishing of a large construction project post turnover to their clients. The role will focus on identifying and recording and deficiencies in homeowner suites and tracking them in the Tarion Warranty Program. This individual will set up and schedule specific trades to fix any deficiencies and the Deficiency Coordinator will log and report the status of each. They will report back to the respective owners on progress and completion.

What you'll need to succeed  

• 2+ years construction experience working on high-rise projects with a Developer
• Experience identifying any deficiencies under the Tarion Warranty Program
• Strong communicator with the ability to schedule trades to fix any deficiencies and report back to the customer on progress
• Understanding of corporate and industry practices, processes, standards etc. and their impact on construction projects
• Knowledge of various construction disciplines, safety regulations, scheduling, cost control, quality control, engineering drawings and other documents
• Proficiency in Office and Project Management software (e.g. MS Office/Project) and TARION is a must

What you'll get in return  

Competitive salary of $60,000 - $75,000
