Job description
Akkodis is currently searching for a Senior Project Manager to manage a service line project for our Government client within the Ottawa area.
Job Summary:
Plan, manage, coordinate and monitor Operational Activities under a Security Engineering team for a Network Access Control project.
Manage the activities during the development, implementation and operations start-up by ensuring that resources are made available and that the project is developed and is fully operational within previously agreed upon time, cost and performance parameters.
Maintain existing plans, risk and issue registries, tools, procedures and systems that are needed to manage and direct the project management office activities.
Write and maintain project related documentation such as business case, charter and plan, scope, budget, schedule, along with risk and issue management plans.
Ensure internal and external stakeholder engagement/management through effective communication and partnership.
Meet in conference with stakeholders and other project managers and state problems in a form capable of being solved.
The successful candidate must possess the following skills and experience:
Level II Secret Clearance granted by the Federal Government of Canada.
10 years of experience as a Project Manager leading IT-related projects.
Proactive and autonomous leader who can establish scope of activity objectives and organize the technical resources to achieve those goals.
The following requirements would be considered an asset:
Post-secondary education in a relevant field to position.
Previous experience managing projects for GoC clients, especially at SSC.
Ideally a Project Manager with a service provider background and who is delivery focused, possessing service line project experience.
