Job description

Job Title: Part-Time Receptionist (30 hours per week)
Location: Pointe-Claire, Quebec
Working Hours: 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday
Wage: 18-20$ an hour

We are looking for a receptionist for a company located in Pointe-Claire, near the Fairview Mall. The company prides itself on providing a welcoming and stress-free atmosphere for both employees and clients.

The ideal candidate will be friendly, professional, and reliable, with excellent communication skills. This position offers a welcoming atmosphere and light phone call duties in a no-stress environment.

Responsibilities
Greet visitors and clients in a courteous and professional manner.
Answer incoming calls and transfer them to the appropriate department or individual.

Take messages and relay them promptly to the intended recipient.
Manage the reception area, ensuring it is tidy and welcoming at all times.
Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, and data entry.
Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages.
Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders as needed.
Assist with scheduling appointments and meetings.
Provide assistance to other departments as needed.
Uphold confidentiality and privacy standards when handling sensitive information.

Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role is preferred but not required.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Professional demeanor and customer service-oriented attitude.
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Fluency in English; proficiency in French is an asset but not required.
