Job Title: Property Manager (Administration and Compliance)
Location: Edmonton, London
Salary: £28,000 - £30,000 per annum
This is a full-time position, requiring 5 days a week in the office.
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Property Manager with a strong emphasis on administration and compliance to join our team in Edmonton, London.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the administrative aspects of property management operations, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards. This role involves maintaining accurate records, managing documentation, coordinating property inspections, and liaising with tenants, landlords, and contractors. The successful candidate will possess excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer all aspects of property management operations, including lease agreements, maintenance requests, and tenant communications.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations governing property management, including health and safety standards, tenancy laws, and data protection regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of property-related documents, financial transactions, and maintenance activities.
- Coordinate property inspections, repairs, and maintenance work in a timely and cost-effective manner.
- Respond promptly to tenant inquiries, concerns, and complaints, and address issues in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Communicate regularly with landlords, tenants, and contractors to ensure smooth operations and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Assist with the preparation of budgets, financial reports, and other documentation as required.
- Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes affecting property management operations.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve organisational goals and deliver high-quality service to clients.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in property management, real estate administration, or a related field.
- Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards governing property management.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritise, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and property management software.
- Relevant certifications or qualifications in property management or real estate administration are preferred.
