Job description
The Event Coordinator is responsible for the event planning and continuing education strategies for the CDSS. This position provides event planning, communications, and project management to support the professional brand, continuing education, and membership services of the CDSS. Position Reports to: Executive Director
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategize, plan, budget and project manage the annual Saskatchewan Dental Conference.
Communicate and negotiate with promotional partners as needed for joint marketing activities.
Ensures all services and other offerings conform to brand identity and conducts ongoing branding management.
Attend Continuing Education (CE) planning sessions, generate ideas, and coordinate the logistics for CE events, both virtually and in-person.
Oversees the development, management, and maintenance of all social media vehicles.
Develops and solicits content for the quarterly member newsletter, working with external creative, and arranges for distribution.
Collects relevant information and distribution of the Annual Specialist and General Practitioner Suggested Fee Guide.
Other duties as assigned.

HOURS
A minimum of 3 days / week, with possibility for additional approved time during events. Some evenings/weekends may be required. Must have a valid drivers license.
