Warehouse Associate in
Edmonton, Alberta for one of our clients.
Responsibilities- Mark pallets with identifying store information to ensure accurate inventory management.
- Utilize lift equipment such as manual pallet jacks or forklifts to transport goods, once you have completed the required training and certification if needed.
- Pick and stage parts for store replenishment, ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment.
- Use a handheld radio frequency device (RF Scanner) for inventory tracking and management.
- Display excellent attention to detail when reading and interpreting documents, including safety rules, instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Demonstrate proficiency in basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Perform physical tasks such as bending, stooping, and reaching into stationary totes to retrieve products.
- Maintain physical endurance for extended periods of standing and walking.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and be aware of potential hazards associated with operating manual pallet jacks or forklift trucks.
- Adapt to a moderately noisy work environment.
Qualifications- Possess a high school diploma or general education degree (GED)/Home School equivalency.
- Be eligible to work in the United States, if required.
- Availability to work 40 hours per week, with the flexibility for overtime when necessary.
- Successfully pass a background check to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
- Wear steel-toed boots and a hi-vest (yellow) for personal safety and visibility purposes.
- Exhibit the ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted, showcasing physical strength and resilience.
- Possess a minimum of 1 year of experience in a warehouse environment or equivalent.
Employment Details- Salary: $18.50 Hourly
- Benefits: Guaranteed 40 hours weekly, Overtime available
- Schedule: 8:00AM to 4:30PM, Monday to Friday
- Other: Gain Canadian experience, Contract to hire roles
