Your Opportunity at ARCâTERYX:
As the Product Operations Manager, APAC â Temporary, you support the evolution, integration, and management of the APAC Go-to-Market (GTM) process. You partner primarily with multiple teams in the APAC region and collaborate with North Vancouver Headquarters (HQ) teams to identify process improvements to help maximize efficiency in the APAC region, leveraging their input and experiences to support the Product Operations team in achieving business targets.
This role is based out of our North Vancouver office and is open to hybrid remote work. Candidates must be eligible to work in Canada.

The Product Operations team optimizes the intersection of product, supporting through cross-functional teams to improve alignment, communication, and processes around the product. We build a foundation for excellence through reinforcing product strategy with metrics, infrastructure, business processes, best practices, budgeting, and reporting.

If you were in the Product Operations Manager, APAC â Temporary role now, here are some of the core activities you would be doing:- Managing cross-functional communication between teams
- Building close relationships with all business teams and supporting change management initiatives and engagement
- Managing multiple projects; ensuring regular status updates are communicated
- Identifying risks, benefits, and impacts of all project requests
- Linking regional and cross-departmental processes to ensure clear deadlines and expectations
- Supporting the implementation of cross functional Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and process mapping tools, using standardized templates
- Recommending new process, process flows, tools or systems solutions that are aligned with company goals
- Managing all APAC inputs/outputs in the Go-to-Market (GTM) calendar, ensuring all deliverables are on time, and that risks or changes are communicated and solutioned with the Product Ops team
- Collaborating with cross functional partners and evolving the GTM process
- Analyzing the current business processes and collaborating with users to identify process improvement areas
- Building and recommending new processes, process flows, tools or systems solutions that are aligned with company goals
- Setting clear timelines and deliverables with HQ teams to support regional needs and local deliverables, on stage-gate and additional assets
- Understanding regional business and their needs; sharing and relaying context to the global HQ teams (and vice versa)
- Maintaining user guides and online help tools
- Preparing meeting agendas
- Collaborating with the Product Ops team to document end-to-end processes as needed
- Upholding Fair Labor Associationâs Workplace Code of Conduct and Principles of Fair Labor and Responsible Sourcing throughout the Arcâteryx supply chain
Are you our next Product Operations Manager, APAC â Temporary?- You have 5+ yearsâ experience in Merchandising, Product Development, Wholesale and/or Retail Buying roles
- You have a strong understanding of the active apparel market within the outdoor industry
- You are familiar with the key outdoor activities we make products for, and you have a specific knowledge of the Chinese market and consumer
- You speak fluently in Mandarin and English
- You have strong organizational skills and excellent attention to detail
- You have effective and efficient time management skills, strong analytical skills, and excellent communication and presentation skills
- You have an excellent understanding of the design and development process
- You have strong leadership and teamwork skills, able to facilitate work across multiple internal departments, and effectively collaborate with our global teams
- You are proficient in the use of Adobe, Microsoft Office and SmartSheets/ similar project management tools
- You are willing and able to travel between and within Canada and China, as well as to other destinations as required for tradeshows, presentations, meetings, consumer events, etc.
- You are proactive in identifying the root cause of issues and developing solutions
- You are highly flexible and adaptable when faced with ambiguity
- You demonstrate the ability to balance autonomy and collaboration well
- You demonstrate the ability to inspire breakthrough thinking and continuous improvement
- You possess the drive to seek the best (but sometimes not the easiest) solutions, with an unwavering commitment to do what is right

$95,000 - $115,000 a year
A reasonable estimate of thepay range is $95,000 - $115,000 CAD at the time of this posting. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors such as job-related skills, relevant experience, education and/or training.
