Location:  Etobicoke, ON (Must be fleible to travel across all Wonderbrands DC locations in Ontario per business requirements)

SUMMARY

As QA Team Leader, you will be responsible for assisting in the day-to-day management of QA activities in our Ontario distribution centre's, all within a fast paced food distribution environment. 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supports the Implementation of Food Safety and Quality policies and programs at the DC level.
• Conducts training on food safety and quality requirements for all employees in the DC.
• Perform random verifications of incoming finished products, inbound /O to make sure they comply with WB quality and food safety standards.
• Maintains Food safety & Quality documentation at the DC level to comply with GFSI standards.
• Manage Pest control Program at the site level; populate trends and communicate with corporate team.
• Support DC team with Hold & Release and product disposition,
• Lead maintenance of all HACCP and other Food safety programs at site level.
• Lead all internal/ third party/ CFIA and/or FDA audits.
• Identify, report non-conformance for any out of compliance situation or food safety incidents. Support BQM with RCA & CAPA implementation for ingredients/packaging and finished products.
• Supports inspections for glass and brittle plastics, pest control, and Good warehouse practices.
• Issue Non Conformance reporting for incoming products or packaging deviations.
• Perform other duties as assigned or per business requirements.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

• Should be flexible to work rotational shifts & weekends per business requirement.
• Must be Flexible to travel across all Wonderbrands DC locations in Ontario per business requirements.
• Must have intermediate level knowledge of Microsoft Office – Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc. skills.
