About the Opportunity - Oversee and participate in the quarter close process in key accounting areas
- Lead US GAAP quarter end reporting process. Includes preparation of MD&A and related schedules
- Lead IFRS quarter end reporting process. Includes preparation and analysis of the board package
- Review P&C1 statutory filing schedules and supporting working papers. Provide in-depth analysis of statutory capital requirement and forecast
- Review standard account reconciliations and analysis and journal entries
- Prepare complex account reconciliations
- Prepare annual audited financial statements inclusive of full notes, shells and all necessary disclosures
- Lead annual financial statement audit and assist with tax audits
- Act as the key liaison between the Finance and Business units on expansion projects and new products launch
- Assist ERP system implementation, including providing analysis, design, development, and end to end testing
- Perform special projects as requested
About You - CPA required
- Public accounting experience is an asset
- 5+ years of experience in Property & Casualty industry, with full cycle accounting and focus on financial reporting.
Salary Range $100,000 - $120,000/yearÂ
