Job description
Looking for: A dedicated team player that works effectively with warehouse, production personnel and management.
Must be able to:
• demonstrate a working knowledge of Hydraulic, Electrical, Refrigeration, and Plumbing systems.
• co-ordinate and assist approved skilled contractors.
• prioritize work load and have the ability to trouble shoot and problem solve.
• ability to multi-task and work with attention to detail and accuracy.
• communicate well with management, employees and contractors.
• repair, adjust and maintain industrial production equipment.
• closely monitor and perform daily, monthly and annual Preventive Maintenance procedures as required for warehouse and production equipment.
• plan and Co-ordinate closely with Operations to ensure Production and Warehouse operations are adequately maintained and in good running order.
• support safety initiatives and ensure compliance to site safety policies and procedures.
• participate in monthly Occupational Health and Safety Meetings.
• perform general maintenance tasks, such as painting, basic carpentry or property upkeep.
• ability to lift heavy objects up 50 lbs.
• work Monday to Friday 7:30 am to 4:30 pm (occasional call ins, overtime and weekend as required)
