Job Summary: As part of our growth strategy, LDM (Lethbridge Dairy Mart) is
seeking a Dairy Equipment Service Technician for their Red Deer, Lethbridge, and
Swift Current Locations. Our dealership is one of the leading privately-owned dairy
farming equipment dealerships in Western Canada and this individual will bring a
great knowledge of dairy, livestock, and agriculture to build the next phase of
dealership business.
Currently have an open position in each of the 3 cities.
Responsibilities:
Duties include troubleshooting and servicing of dairy milking and feeding
equipment including Parlors, Robots etc.
Requirements include basic electrical knowledge and welding experience,
general computer skills, and exceptional customer service skills. Company
and manufacturer-sponsored training will be provided.
Applicant must be team focused but able to work independently.
Willing to travel out of town for training and service.
Perform milking equipment schedule service and day to day maintenance.
Keep track of all the service calls and report Manager on regular basis.
Some cold calls to inform customers about new upgrades and products.
Any other required duties assigned by management.
Willing to work in any kind of weather conditions.
Qualifications:
Exceptional customer service skills
Strong leadership, interpersonal and follow through skills.
Exceptional Verbal and written communication skills are a must.
Must possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Team player
Strong work ethic, sense of responsibility and attention to detail and
confidentiality
