Golf Shop & Retail Manager

Predator Ridge has one of the most successful golf and resort lifestyle retail operations in the country. The
successful candidate will be an individual who is driven to taking the retail program beyond all other comparative
facilities in Canada.
WHAT TO EXPECT:
Reporting to the Director of Golf, this position ensures an exceptional retail experience by maintaining an upbeat
and positive attitude while dealing with members, resort guests, and team members. This role is vital to the
success of the Golf Operation and is on the management level within our business.
- Oversee all aspects of the Golf Retail operation.
- Lead, manage and hold the Golf Shop team accountable.
- Achieve Financial Targets and Adhere to Labor Budgets.
- Create, execute, and manage a purchasing plan (Open to Buy).
- Manage inventory levels for one of the largest Green Grass Golf Shops in Canada.
- Maintain relationships with vendors, sales representatives and BPG.
- Create and oversee the Golf Shop designed experience.
- Anticipate, identify, and ensure customer needs are being met/exceeded.
- Monitor customer satisfaction and take appropriate action with feedback.
- Ensure retail associates are passionate about the guest experience.
- Organize regular staff meetings to communicate priorities.
- Assist in opportunities for product knowledge training and development.
- Communicate with other departments in a friendly and professional manner.
- Assist with all Predator Ridge golf events.
- Be aware of all facilities and services, promote and direct guests to them.
- Communicate any issues arising from day-to-day operations.
- Comply and create all standard operating procedures and policies.
- Perform other related duties assigned or that may arise.
- Continue and Grow the Predator Ridge retail Online Store.

- Ability to work all shifts, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
- Ability to take direction and work with minimal supervision.
- Proven ability to participate in a safe work culture.
- Computer literate and knowledge of golf and retail industry software.
- Prior experience using Lightspeed software is a Bonus.
COMPENSATION:
- $55,000-$60,000 per year
- Management Incentive Plan (Bonus Plan)
- Cell Phone Plan
