Job description
Kia of Prince Albert is hiring for the positions of Apprentice/Lube tech. If you're passionate about the automotive industry and are looking for a future working with cars - this may be the positions for you. Mechanical aptitude is required. Sask. Apprenticeship available for the right candidate. Wage dependent on experience.
Responsibilities:
- Assist senior automotive technicians in diagnosing and repairing vehicles
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements
- Learn to use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and resolve mechanical issues
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
Skills:
- Mechanical knowledge and aptitude for automotive repair
- Ability to work in a fast-paced dealership environment
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent customer service skills to interact with clients
- Willingness to learn from experienced mechanics and follow instructions
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks
