Regina School Division No. 4 of Saskatchewan (Regina Public Schools) is one of the largest school divisions in the province, serving the educational needs of more than 26,000 students. The school division operates on Treaty 4 territory and the homeland of the Metis.
ABOUT THE DIRECTOR OF EDUCATION/CEO
Based in Regina, Saskatchewan, the Director of Education is the CEO of the Board of Education and of the Division and reports directly to the Board of Education. As the public face of the Division, the Director of Education/CEO will embody the 4 Shared Values, the Division's commitment to the Truth and Reconciliation Calls to Action, and its commitment to the mental health and well-being of all individuals connected to the Division.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
In accordance with The School Division Administration Regulations, individuals are eligible for the Director of Education/CEO position if they meet the following requirements:
- Hold or meet the requirements to hold a Professional A Teacher's Certificate issued in accordance with The Registered Teachers Act
- Completed a master's degree in a field that relates to the major duties of a director of education
- A minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in Canada at the elementary or secondary school level
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in Canada as an educational administrator
- Meet the requirements to hold membership with the League of Educational Administrators, Directors and Superintendents
