The Department of Health is seeking individuals to fill current and future temporary Business Solutions Support Specialist opportunities within the Innovation and eHealth Branch, in Fredericton.
As a Business Solutions Support Specialist, you will:
- Support the Innovation and eHealth Branch with implementing, updating and managing administrative solutions for end-users, including NB Citizens, clinicians and health care administrators;
- Act as point of contact between users and business solutions (Communication);
- Liaise with the Department of Health/Service New Brunswick Help Desk;
- Answer and follow up on questions related to various business solutions (phone and email);
- Redirection of questions to appropriate business liaison;
- Manage user profiles and logs (privileges/ creation/ modifications to user accounts within applications);
- Support end-user training;
- Configure application (new site, access delegation);
- Update policies and procedures, Training, and Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) documents;
- Provide help with business workflow/user acceptance testing;
- Act as a Superuser for business solutions;
- Maintain documentation on support issues, service access and change requests;
- Support resolution and tracking of incidents;
- Manage Activity Dashboards (non-Clinical triage);
- Support and coordinate issue resolution activities with all business solution stakeholders (internal and external to the Department of Health);
- Support Auditing and data integrity functions.

Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology or a related field.
- Two (2) years of related experience.
- An equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered.
- Written and spoken competence in English and French is required. Please state your language capability on your application

In the event that this competition poses difficulties in recruiting a qualified candidate, a covering off appointment at a lower level may be made. In that case, candidates with less than the required related years of experience may also be considered.
Asset Qualifications : Preference may be given to candidates who possess the following asset qualifications:
- Application support experience.
- Technical user support role experience.
- Technical and Business training.
- Microsoft Office Suite experience.

Salary: $49,660 to $69,394 per annum (Pay Band 3)
