Reference Code:048083 Job Title: Engineering Manager (Mechanical and Hydraulic Design) Responsibilities: • Lead and manage the Mechanical and Hydraulic Design team, including assigning tasks, setting goals, and providing guidance and mentorship to team members. • Oversee the design and development of special-purpose equipment for various heavy industrial clients, ensuring compliance with project requirements, industry standards, and regulatory guidelines. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Project Management, Manufacturing, and Quality Assurance, to ensure seamless execution of projects from design to delivery. • Review and approve design drawings, specifications, and technical documentation prepared by the team. • Conduct design reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members to drive continuous improvement and innovation in our design processes. • Coordinate with external vendors and suppliers to source materials and components for prototype development and production. • Act as a technical liaison with clients, providing expertise and support throughout the project lifecycle. • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in mechanical and hydraulic design, and incorporate them into our design processes. • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations in all aspects of design and engineering activities. Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. • 15+ years of experience in the design and supervision of mechanical equipment, preferably in heavy industrial sectors. • Proven experience in hydraulic system design and analysis. • Proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks 3D CAD software. • Strong leadership and managerial skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members. • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
