Job description

Job Summary Hogan Chevrolet Buick GMC Limited is looking for a Automotive Technician 310S with mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities who can accurately diagnose, repair and maintain our vehicles. This is a full-time, hourly position working in Scarborough, ON. The Technician will be expected to perform a variety of services on all makes and models of vehicles, as well as participating in our various customer service initiatives. Must have 310S or 310T Certificate Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive pay – $40.00 - $50.00 TO BE DISCUSSED WITH SERVICE MANAGER

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain all vehicle systems, including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Perform factory recommended maintenance services
• Prepare estimates and explain what services will be provided to customers
• Identify and document vehicle operating issues
• Participate in customer service activities
• Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures

Requirements

• Valid Automobile Mechanic License 310S
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Automotive Technician and/or Automotive Service Technician
• Detail orientated with excellent manual dexterity
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work on your feet for extended periods of time
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• A valid driver's license
