Hatch is seeking a Civil Co-op Student with interest in Railway & Transit for an internship starting May 2024 . Reporting to Rail & Transit Projects you will support offices globally working from our Vancouver, B.C. office location.

Responsibilities:

• Working as part of a design team, assisting with conceptual, preliminary and detailed design; site inspection; design calculations, report writing.
• Coordination with engineers, designers and related disciplines as required to assist with project deliverables.
• Preparing design submissions and other technical documents.

Education and Experience:

• Currently enrolled in Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering;
• Experience in the use of either or: AutoCAD, MicroStation and/or Civil3D
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook).
• Problem solving skills and analytical.

• Good understanding of engineering and business fundamentals as they apply to engineering problems and projects.
