Position: Site Supervisor
Location: Hamilton/Waterloo Region
Type: Permanent: 100% on-site

Our client, an established contractor of some of the largest utility companies in the country, is seeking a dynamic Site Supervisor to oversee projects in Hamilton, Cambridge, and the Waterloo region. With 3-5 years of site management experience and a knack for utility operations, you could be the missing piece to our client's dedicated team.
Position Overview:
As a Site Supervisor, you'll lead the charge in ensuring the seamless execution of utility projects. From managing high-voltage cables to overseeing street lighting installations, you'll play a pivotal role in connecting Ontario's diverse utility systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of project teams to ensure compliance with safety standards and project specifications
- Conduct regular site inspections to assess progress and address potential risks or issues
- Manage resources efficiently to optimize productivity and minimize downtime
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to resolve complex issues and ensure compliance with industry standards
- Prepare accurate documentation to track project progress and expenses.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred
- 3-5 years of experience in utility operations or construction management
- Strong technical knowledge of utility systems
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication skills and proficiency in MS Office Suite and project management software
- Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel to various job sites
