What You’ll Do Here
- Demonstrates commitment to the development, implementation, and effectiveness of Project Quality Management Plan (QMP).
- Reports QMP performance to the project top management and awareness of the QMP throughout the project segments.
- Ensuring the establishment and maintenance of the QMP into the project and auditing and reporting on the performance of the QMP.
- Determining and implementing the actions required to ensure the QMP will achieve its intended results.
- Verifying that all Quality Documentation conforms to applicable Project Requirements.
- Scheduling and coordinating Independent Quality Audits, Internal Quality Audits and External Quality Audits of all key processes and reporting the findings.
- Developing and implementing a program for Correction, and where applicable, Corrective Action in respect of Nonconformities.
- Developing and implementing a program for Opportunities for Improvement in respect of potential Nonconformities or continual improvement initiatives.
- Acting as the primary representative for projects relating to Quality Management.
- Prepares quality reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
- Keeps quality regulations, codes and standards, advising management of any business implications of these changes. Lead, manage and ensure proper training is development and conducted.
- Sets QA compliance objectives and ensures that targets are achieved.
- Promotes quality achievement and performance improvement throughout the organization.
- Drive an inclusive culture to promote equity, welcome different perspectives, and enable career progression by fostering a sense of belonging.
What You Bring To The Team
- Bachelor's degree in engineering/science-related field.
- 10+ years of construction industry experience in quality assurance.
- Minimum of 5 years of leading and managing teams.
- Experience working on a major infrastructure project required.
- Must be ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certified.
- Extensive knowledge of Quality System regulatory requirements.
- Proven ability in coordinating efforts to support, mentor and audit Quality Management System requirements.
- Experience in planning and managing Quality Assurance and internal processes.
- Ability to apply technical knowledge, critical analysis and decision-making skills to identify and resolve issues.
- Experience working on large, complex civil infrastructure projects.
- Experience working with joint venture partnerships.
- Experience working with public, department of transportation clients.
- Experience overseeing a team of coordinators and inspectors.
- Strong commercial acumen and stakeholder relationship management skills.
- Strong demonstrated written, oral and presentational skills.
- Be a champion of inclusion and diversity.
The expected pay range for this position is $130,000 - $150,000.
