Your Contribution
As a Geotechnical Engineer , this candidate will work in collaboration with the Geotechnical Department, report to the Team Lead, and support a wide variety of projects. This role will primarily be, but is not limited to:
- Conducting and leading geotechnical engineering designs, managing project schedules and budgets, preparing proposals and cost estimates
- Writing and/or reviewing geotechnical reports, specifications, and other deliverables related to a variety of geotechnical projects
- Designing project specific field investigation programmes and laboratory testing programmes to meet the deliverable requirements
- Conducting Slope stability analysis and geotechnical designs to meet the regulatory requirements for Conservation Authorities and other government agencies
- Fostering client relationships throughout the project life cycle
Your Profile
- P. Eng. License with Professional Engineers of Ontario with about 5 to 8 years of experience in geotechnical engineering
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
- Valid G class driver's licence; comfortable driving within and outside the GTA
- Strong collaborative and independent working skills
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills; experience report writing
- Demonstrated interest and sensitivity towards occupational health and safety
- Comfortable with occasional out of town travel for project related works as required
- Proven commitment to providing excellent client service and enjoy working in a team environment and independently
Qualifications:
