A successful boutique Chartered Professional Accounting firm in Edmonton has an immediate need for an experienced Accounting professional to join the team.
Your new role
The Accounting Technician will be responsible for completing corporate year ends for various client industries, including review of corporate tax returns and personal tax returns. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and a high level of attention to detail. This role will report to and directly communicate with a partner of the firm on a daily basis. The ability to have open communication with partners is required.
- Review corporate year-end files
- Review personal tax returns
- Tax planning for clients
- Ability to communicate directly with clients
- Prepare corporate year-end files with corporate tax returns as required
- Prepare and review T4/T5 slips and WCB returns
- Manage multiple groups of companies
What you'll need to succeed
It is essential is that you have previously worked at a designated firm and have extensive experience of completing and reviewing corporate tax returns.
