Job Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE), & proof of membership in good standing with the College of RECEs
Previous Child Care experience
Current Standard First Aid, CPR-C certification
A clear and satisfactory criminal reference check inclusive of the vulnerable sector search (CRC VSS) issued for the YMCA of Niagara

Father Fogarty YMCA Child Care Centre - Welland
Pay RECE ($19.03 + $2.00 WEG + $2.00 RECE premium) After 3-month probation period: YMCA Health/Dental Benefits - paid sick days and generous vacation plan. YMCA Membership benefits and ECCDC Membership

NATURE & SCOPE
The role of the RECE is to help carry out the day-to-day operations of the Child Care Centre. Helping to implement programs for children in care within the requirements of the current curriculum.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for the care and safety of the children
Organize and implement activities for the group as outlined in the YMCA Playing To Learn curriculum
Maintain a positive and professional relationship with all parents, children and fellow staff
Participate in training sessions when required including Food Handlers Certification
Participate in training and adhere to the YMCA Child Protection Policies and Procedures as established by the YMCA of Niagara
