CGI is looking for Senior Payroll Consultant to be part of a large payroll solution implementation for a client with over 300,000 employees. Your future duties and responsibilities
The Senior Payroll Consultant will spearhead functional workshops with the client to gather business and functional requirements from the stakeholders, lead configuration of the payroll solution according to client needs, support testing and implementation efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct workshops and design sessions to gather requirements from the customer.
• Configure Ceridian Solution to meet the requirements gathered from the customer.
• Develop SQL database scripts and XML transformers for integrations and interfaces
• Train and mentor junior functional consultants on configuration of the Ceridian Solution
• Keep apprised of the new features and functionalities released by Ceridian Dayforce.
• Participate in and help expand the Ceridian Dayforce Center of Excellence within CGI
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
Required Skills and Experience
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of experience in human capital management application consulting
• Product certification in Payroll HCM module or equivalent experience
• Experience in business process mapping
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products
• Experience with software in a SaaS / Cloud computing environment including experience with HRIS Systems
• Experience with one or more of the following applications: SalesForce.com,SAP, PeopleSoft, JD Edwards, Kronos, Workbrain/Infor, RedPrairie/JDA, Ultimate, Oracle HR/Payroll, PeopleSoft, Ceridian (preferred)
• Ability to effectively implement an HRIS module or similar end-to-end solution
• Understanding of common human capital management (HCM) business practices
• Understanding of different industries and how Ceridian implementation best practices apply to the customer’s business practices
