Our client, a leading global chemistry company in the US, Canada, Asia and Europe, is g oing through a Digital Transformation. They are building a Digital Hub for global business in Toronto city. Therefore, we are hiring multiple technology talents with the ambition of joining the digital hub.
Your new role
A client is looking for an experienced User Experience Architect like you to join our team. As a User Experience Architect, you will take a lead role in designing and developing user interfaces for our web applications within our catalyst business. You will collaborate with international cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into elegant and scalable front-end solutions. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of front-end technologies, extensive experience in building complex web applications, and a proven track record of delivering high-quality work.
- Lead the design and development of user interfaces for web applications, ensuring optimal performance, usability, and accessibility.
- Collaborate with designers, back-end developers, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and performance optimizations.
- Comprehensive documentation for all applications to enable the outsourcing of support functions.
- Collaborate with the stakeholders to create and maintain a consistent and visually appealing user interface across all platforms.
- Participate in the planning and estimation of development efforts, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of projects.
- Effectively coordinate additional resources to meet project deadlines
- Stay up-to-date with emerging front-end technologies and industry trends, and provide recommendations for improving our development processes and tools.
What you'll need to succeed
- A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Expertise in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with a deep understanding of web standards and best practices.
- Extensive experience with front-end frameworks/libraries such as React, Angular, and Vue.js.
- Experience in upgrading and improving existing codebase from old coding languages to new coding languages.
- Strong knowledge of responsive design principles and techniques.
- Proficient in version control systems, such as Git, and working with AzureDevops.
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams, both technical and non-technical, providing technical guidance and support
- Experience with graph databases, reporting, and data visualization technologies such as Power BI.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
