As a Maintenance Technician at Whitewater Golf Club, your primary role will involve the meticulous maintenance and repair of our golf course equipment and vehicles to ensure they meet our high operational standards. This includes a diverse array of tasks from routine maintenance checks of greens mowers, aerators, turf mowers, and golf carts to more complex mechanical and electrical repairs. You will be responsible for performing essential maintenance tasks such as oil changes, blade sharpening, and replacing worn or defective parts. Additionally, your role involves inventory management, ensuring that all necessary parts and supplies are readily available for maintenance and repair work. Collaboration with our greens crew is vital to prioritize and efficiently address equipment repair and maintenance needs, all while strictly adhering to safety standards to safeguard against accidents and injuries.
We are seeking an individual with a robust mechanical aptitude, capable of managing a wide range of maintenance and repair tasks with precision and efficiency. The ideal candidate for this position is not just experienced in mechanical repairs—particularly with turf equipment or similar machinery—but also possesses a comprehensive knowledge of hand and power tool usage. You should be highly adaptable, ready to embrace our seasonal work schedules which include early mornings.
Mechanical understanding and hands-on repair skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Flexibility to work a seasonal schedule, including some weekends.
Reliable personal transportation.
Previous experience in golf course maintenance or similar roles.
Certifications or additional training in mechanical repairs or related fields.
