Wage: $37 – $42 hourly DOE

Shifts:  Mon – Fri day shift. Guaranteed 8 hours per day. Lots of OT in the busy season. 

Requirements: 

• Red Seal or MB Journeyman Truck Mechanic certification 
• Manitoba Safety Inspection Certificate
• Working knowledge of Cummins, Cat, Deere, 2 & 4 cylinder Detroit engines
• Understanding of hydraulic valve operation and ability to diagnose issues
• Safety inspection experience
• Must have own tools
• Must be safety focused, organized and reliable

Responsibilities include:

• Maintain, repair, and overhaul truck and trailer and specialized railway equipment (training provided on this)
• Service, adjust, repair or replace parts and components
• Diagnose and repair hydraulic and electrical systems
• Read and understand work orders, and interpret technical manuals
• Perform safety inspections on truck and trailers
