Are you a licensed 433A Millwright looking for an opportunity in the recession proof food industry?

Our reputable client in Waterloo is seeking a licensed Millwright Mechanic for their clean, safe plant environment on an already very successful mechanical team. We are specifically seeking a Millwright on a night shift.

Location: Waterloo
Shift: Straight Nights - Monday to Friday 8:30pm to 5am
Position: Millwright - 433a
Pay: $40.89/hour

Responsibilities
- Maintain equipment such as scales, baggers, cartoning equipment, breaders, fryers
- Documenting your work using a Maintenance Management software

- Maintaining all pneumatic and hydraulic equipment in the facility along with the mechanical team
- Read and interpret schematic drawings to determine maintenance required
- Test equipment after necessary changes are made
- Perform within all health and safety regulations in the plant

Qualifications
- Licensed 433A Millwright
- Ability to work with raw meats (no harvesting done on site) such as Chicken, Fish and Beef
- Previous experience with bearings, shafts, gearboxes, overhauling equipment
- Must have strong troubleshooting abilities
- Familiarity with GMP and Food environments is ideal, but not required
- TIG welding is an asset, but not required
