Introduction

Environment and Climate Change, Parks, North Whiteshell Provincial Park is looking for qualified individuals to fill dual class Labourer/Operator 1 positions. These Positions are located in the North Whiteshell Provincial Park.  An eligibility list may be created for similar positions for the 2024/25 season and will remain in effect for 12 months to fill vacancies in the North Whiteshell (Rennie and Seven Sisters Falls).

Duties:

Under the supervision of the Park Works Supervisor, the Labourer performs a variety of heavy and light manual duties associated with construction, maintenance, and works operations; including janitorial duties and general maintenance of grounds and facilities, and may be required to operate various small equipment and tools.  The Operator 1 will be required to operate various equipment including specialized mowers, light motor vehicles, and other small equipment.  The Operator may also be required to perform maintenance and minor repairs on equipment, as well as keep daily operating and maintenance records.
