Job description

Gorkhali Construction Inc. located at 7536 140 ST, Surrey, BC, V3W 5J8 is currently looking for 2 full- time, Tilesetter to join our team asap.

Job Duties:

• Prepare measure and mark surface to be covered.
• Cut polish and install marble and granite.
• Mix, apply and spread material by using hand trowel.
• Working on setting tiles in the position affix to base.
• Cut and fit tiles around obstacles and openings using hand and power cutting tools.
• Remove and replace damaged tiles.
• May prepare Cost estimates and orders.

Job Requirement:

• Completion of secondary school,
• 3-4 years of experience in related field.

Terms:

• Salary: $32.00 /Hourly. Overtime starts after 40 hours per week.
• Fulltime, Permanent.
• Must be willing to travel to work sites all over lower Mainland BC.

Language: English

Work Conditions & Physical Capabilities: Physically demanding, Bending, crouching, kneeling.

Personal suitability: Team Player, Reliability

Major Work Area: Construction, Renovation, Maintenance and repair

Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots.
