Leading cosmetics manufacturer in Markham is looking for Equipment Cleaners to start ASAP!!!
Full-time position, 40hrs/week.
Working location: Markham, ON (Highway 404 & MajorMac)
Night shift: 11PM to 7AM Sunday night to Friday Morning
Pay rate: $19.45/hr including 4% vacation pay
Job Duties:
- Inspection of equipment prior to use, prevent discrepancies
- Use the proper cleaning agents and sanitize under GMP guidelines and department SOPs
- Assemble and disassemble equipment
- Preparing for cleaning and sanitizes for processing within the health and Safety guidelines and
department SOP - Proactively identify and resolve safety concerns
- Observe and conform to all corporate EH&S guidelines and procedures
- Adhere to established Lockout/Tag out Programs
- Actively participate and evaluate PSR’s
- Participate in the establishment of annual EH&S objectives
- Maintain clean work environment on the production floor and within the maintenance shop
Job Qualifications
- Secondary School or equivalent
- Minimum of 6 months in the manufacturing industry with related experience
- Good mechanical knowledge is an asset
- Knowledge of small tools and light assembly
- Able to do the heavy lifting
- Clean criminal background
