Personal Lines Account Manager
JOB DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
1/Develops and maintains good working relationships with clients and insurance company personnel by returning phone calls the same day and answering emails within 24 hours.
2/ Provides client change information to the insurer and adheres to the company’s binding period
3/ Responds swiftly to claim inquiries; providing claims counseling when appropriate and reports to the Insurance Company by following the internal claim procedure
4/ Reviews renewals with clients when directed by internal lists or client requests. Verifies that all updates and discounts are applied, correct coverage is in place and premium is satisfactory or remarket to an alternate carrier
5/ Updates Tam data base per internal SOP and collects up-to-date contact information on clients by confirming client detail information on data base.
6/ Maintains detailed knowledge of new and existing products and current market conditions to educate and introduce new products by reading company emails, attending in house company meetings, webinars and internal department meetings.
7/ Encourages clients when an opportunity arises to use added value services– i.e. commercial and financial services
REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:
· RIBO Licensed
· Familiar with insurance brokerage customer service management data base – Agency Manager
· Positive attitude
· Detail oriented
· Exceptional verbal & written communication skills
· Team player
· Able to work independently - accomplishing tasks without direct supervision
· Able to prioritize tasks
· Minimum 2 years insurance customer service experience
