Role
We are looking for a Pricing Analystto innovate, win, and grow with us on our Product Team!
As a Pricing Analyst, you will be analyzing existing pricing and market trends, implementing the pricing framework, and supporting teams as they execute against the pricing strategy. You’ll work directly with product & revenue management teams on the pricing strategies that drive growth and revenue. You’ll be responsible for building strong connections with customer facing teams (sales, account management, customer success, etc.) to ensure a tight feedback loop on executed strategy and adjusting direction as needed.
This position can be based out of a REMOTE location within the US.
How you’ll contribute:
- Partner with product, sales, contracts, and finance colleagues, as the subject matter expert for product price setting for a myriad of “as a Service” products across a variety of industries and geographies.
- Develop pricing from strategy to implementation targeting identified client needs, balancing revenue against risks related to product utilization, mix, wallet share, margins, and profitability.
- Apply new and alternative pricing methodologies (e.g., value-based, tiered pricing, dynamic algorithms, subscriptions, usage)
- Analyze customer behavior to identify opportunities to optimize pricing through quantitative and qualitative analysis.
- Develop discounting optimization strategies and guidance models, GTM programs and promotions across Geos and RTMs.
- Drive cross-sell and up-sell pricing through Global Solution bundling programs that balance portfolio level simplification with value capture.
- Support tracking and evaluating KPI’s to analyze price realization impacts of packaging and pricing changes for continuous improvements.
- Monitor trends in pricing intelligence, product sales price performance, competitive market, and customer / patient engagement. Track accountabilities and interpret trending and analyses to provide actionable and timely pricing recommendations to management for decision making purposes.
- Support the broader Pricing Strategy implementing pricing tools and other systems to apply consistent implementation of new pricing approaches.
- Be an outside-the-box strategic thinker and an internal champion for innovation and change.
What will make you successful:
- An innovative mindset with the ability to identify and pioneer new pricing concepts; has strong detail orientation, and can translate high-level innovations into tangible, actionable project plans.
- 3+ years' experience in a corporate environment with product pricing (SaaS, PaaS, Services). Knowledge / experience with B2B business models preferred.
- A passion and drive to grow revenue through value-based pricing, whilst supporting customer retention
- Ability to think creatively about the customer and product implications of pricing recommendations.
- Successful experience using analytical approach to problem solving, able to assess market landscape, recognize patterns and evolving opportunities, and offer creative solutions; as well as work with deadlines and be adaptable to unexpected demands.
- Experience providing pricing analysis and modeling to support contract/pricing differentiation and value-based selling.
- Advanced Excel skills with experience pricing and building financial models.
- Ability to manage multiple projects & priorities, seamlessly moving between strategy & tactical execution.
- Demonstrated experience supporting and driving complex, cross-functional initiatives.
- Experience partnering with Finance, Product, Sales, Marketing, and Executive leadership teams to drive strategy.
- BA/BS in Business Administration, Finance, Statistics, Economics or equivalent. Master’s degree preferred.
