Your new role
As an Estimator, you will report into the Operations Manager and, working alongside another Estimator, you will do set up and maintenance of take-offs, provide estimates on model options and create new estimates by determining the cost of materials, equipment and labour. You will also work with trades to obtain rates, provide tendering process for new homes, as well as tender analysis and awarding.
What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this very important job, you will have post-secondary education in the area of engineering, architecture or construction. You should have at least 3–5 years of practical and professional working experience in a similar new home builder environment using Newstar. You must have very strong IT skills and also excellent knowledge of the OBC.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are a must as being able to work 4 days a week in the office.
