Job description

This is a contract position for a Business Analyst for our public sector client.
Work location: Downtown Toronto
Duration: Seven Months
7.25 hours/day
This is a role that requires the candidate to be onsite (This is a mandatory requirement of the role and is non-negotiable outside of exceptional circumstances.)

Responsibilities
• Gather business requirements to assist with web design, and information architecture.
• Create business and end-user/stakeholder process maps, user stories/use case scenarios.
• Create a web content strategy to ensure ongoing processes meet business goals.
• Work with the project team to develop a new information architecture for the website.
• Work with the project team and business users to map content from existing site to new website architecture.
• Work with the UX/UI designer and business users to develop the site map, organize content, and create webpage/component prototypes.
• Work with the project manager and project team in completing all relevant and required documentation, presentation materials, training and testing in alignment with OPS standards.


Qualifications
At least 3-5 years of experience in business analysis and project implementation including experience in Agile projects.
Knowledge and understanding of Information Architecture to organize and structure website content for easy navigation and accessibility.
Experience of Agile development projects, Cloud based development including Microsoft DevOps environment.
Experience in enterprise level public website design projects, information architecture/business analysis as it relates to website design.
