Job description
Overview: We're seeking a Remote Sensing Analyst to analyze satellite and aerial imagery for various applications, including environmental monitoring, agriculture, and urban planning. You'll be responsible for processing, interpreting, and visualizing remote sensing data to derive insights and support decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and analyze satellite and aerial imagery using remote sensing software and techniques.
- Interpret remote sensing data to identify land cover, vegetation health, and environmental changes.
- Generate maps, reports, and visualizations to communicate remote sensing analysis results.
- Collaborate with researchers, government agencies, and industry partners on remote sensing projects.
- Stay updated with advancements in remote sensing technology and methodologies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Remote Sensing, Geography, Environmental Science, or related field.
- Experience in remote sensing analysis or GIS roles.
- Proficiency in remote sensing software and tools (e.g., ERDAS Imagine, ENVI, ArcGIS).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
